Hello Inter-Webbians Swifty El here and talking about another comic book show that the Wonderful world of DC Comics have brought us, if you remember I have mentioned Arrow in one of my previous blogs in particular Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now I am pleased that the second season of Arrow has been aired and surprised us with not only fun filled action but 2 episodes on the same day BOOOM!!! this aired in the UK 21st Oct

I do love this show its defiantly filled the void since the end of Smallville for me, I would even go as far as saying its Just as good in its own right, the acting is Dark yet fun i find it has everything you could possibly need from a show Action, Comedy, Romance/Sexual Chemistry, Drama to even Educational Booooom! there i said it the actors are great. the show for me i can relate on so many different levels from what is it like being a social out cast to being reaccepted to around your peers, to the struggles of family life and being brought up in a broken home.

I do believe this show is epic been waiting all Summer for it to restart and the fact that Stephen Amell is such a down to earth guy he even operates his own Facebook page and twitter and puts his real posts up. Out of respect I wont put his Facebook details on here as I have friended him on Facebook and follow him on twitter he is a genuine nice guy.

now a last Season reminder before I go on and talk about the New Season.

Season 1:

The series follows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), billionaire playboy of Starling City, who spends five years stranded on an island following a shipwreck which claimed the lives of his Father Robert Queen, and Sara Lance (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), he returns to the city a changed man and is reunited with his family mother, Moira (Susanna Thompson), her new husband, Walter Steele (Colin Salmon), the former CFO of his father's company who is now the CEO; and his younger sister, Thea (Willa Holland). He also meets back up with his best friend from his playboy/party days Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell), He also try’s to reconnect with his child hood sweet heart ex girlfriend on who he cheated on Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) but with an over protective Police Detective father Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) makes it very difficult due to the fact that Oliver had cheated on Laurel with her sister Sara Lance and who Quentin holds him partly responsible for Sara’s death.

Oliver has a list of people that his father gave to him and Oliver swore to reclaim his fathers honor by correcting the wrong doings that his father has done which involves taking out the people on the list. Doing this he take on a new persona he becomes a green-hooded vigilante Known as The Hood who we all know as GREEN ARROW but SHHHH they don’t call him that yet. He eventually teams up with his Bodyguard and ex soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), and continues to pursue the list.

Olly faces many foes during his quest and you do see some other Comic Book Characters during season 1 such as Huntress, China White, Shado, Deadshot, to even Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke but the one that stands out most is Tommy’s father Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). Who turns out to be his biggest foe and ends up with nail biting battles that involve part of the city known as the Glades getting destroyed. This pretty much is what happens

Now if that hasn’t gripped you yet then there’s more.

Spoiler alerts!!!

Season 2: Ep 1.

Many months have past since the attack from Merlyn and his earthquake contraption, which has left the city in ruins. Our Green Hooded vigilante has disappeared back to the island from which he was stranded on, purely because of the death of his Best friend Tommy in which he holds a lot of the blame on himself. Also the fact that his own mother was involved with the building of the machine that caused the disaster.  While Olly’s mother is in prison Diggle finds Oliver and convinces him to return but Olly doesn’t want to be The Hood much longer. In the mean time there are gangs posing as hooded vigilantes taking out powerful people and people they feel are doing wrong by the city, where as another wanna be Hero Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) Thea’s Boyfriend try’s to help those in need in the absence of The Hood.
