Hi Civilians,

There has been much hype on social media and now finally the time is approaching... crouching tiger, hidden dragon sword of destiny is coming to Netflix on February 26th 2016.

Based on the novel Iron Knight, Silver Vase by Wang Dulu, the film tells the story of a legendary sword and a last opportunity at redemption.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny is directed by martial arts choreographer and director Yuen Woo-Ping. The film stars Michelle Yeoh (who starred in the original, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) as Yu Shu-Lien and Donnie Yen as Silent Wolf. Others include Jason Scott Lee, Harry Shum Jr and Ngo Thanh Van.

As Netflix releases a new trailer, many people have not seen it (even for press there has not been any more information) unless you were in China where it has opened over the last weekend to a box office take of approximately $21 million.

While not a record-breaking gross taking, the film is performing considerably better than Ang Lee’s original martial arts film did. While the Oscar-winning Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon performed well at the US box office, the film was considered a flop in Hong Kong and China.

Zombie Fight Club by UKAnifest

Hi Civilians,

The UK premiere of zombie fight club the so called sequel to zombie 108 from Joe Chien is going to be screening at frightfest 2015 and the DVD will be out a couple of days after!

The Sticky

image.jpg

" Once again, director Joe Chien sets out to have as much fun as he possibly can with the fan favourite monsters, adding a new dimension to zombie-style action. The result is a high-octane spectacle, and with young exciting leads Andy On and Jessica C, it’s also one of the sexiest entries into the zombie genre.

With fights choreographed by Philip Ng, the action really is the centerpiece of the film, and once the “Zombie Fight Club” kicks-off you won’t be disappointed – it’s a fight to the death like you’ve never seen before." Altitude Film Entertainment

This sequel is much like its predecessor, Zombie 108 – fast-paced, blood-splattered, and shamelessly insane. After watching our review disc I can honestly say that this is zombie 'porn' of the highest level. We have action, zombies and a crazy story line that will captivate and keep you compelled to finish the movie.

The Extras

I expected more in terms of extras. The only things that is included on the disc is the trailer and that's it.  Altitude entertainment needed to include a behind the scenes documentary or add the ending skit as an extra and that would be just right for this sort of bare bones release, this has let the disc down and could disappoint fans and lovers of the previous film Zombie 108.

The End

You know what you are going to get with this film... Fun, fun and more fun! Please don't get this confused, the film is not that great but it is compelling enough to keep watching. It's like you do not want to turn off and at the moment I am on my 3rd viewing so it is well worth the price tag and entertainment value.

Zombie Fight Club will have its UK premiere at Film4 FrightFest on Friday 28th August, before coming to DVD on the 31st August.
