MCM's first event of 2015, Midlands Comic Con returns to Telford this Saturday for a fun-filled day of comics, movies, games, anime and cosplay.
There's a sci-fi flavour to our special guests this year, with Mass Effect star Mark Meer and Red Dwarf favourites Chris Barrie and Robert Llewellyn coming to Telford to meet fans, sign autographs and present on-stage panels. Mark voices protagonist Commander Shepard in the bestselling Mass Effect games, while Chris and Robert play hapless hologram Arnold J. Rimmer and service droid Kryten on much-loved sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf.
Meanwhile, the Comic Village area will be packed with talented artists and writers to meet, including Beyond The Bunker, T Publications, Naniiebim, Sammy Borras, Ryuuza, Kelly Angel and Lisa Cummins. And while we're talking about art, internationally known graffiti artist Kid30 from Smallkid Design will be creating some special Turtle-themed artwork over on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stand.
Other attractions to discover include our Cosplay Masquerade, a League Of Legends eSports zone and the battlin' 'bots of the Robots Live arena, while retailers attending the show include Manga Entertainment, MVM Enertainment, Tokyo Toys, The Japan Centre, Funky Collectables, MyM Magazine and Go2Games (complete with inflatable shop!).
