Tekken team produce Virtual School GIrl Otome by Aisha Anime

summer lessons

Here’s an interesting project from my favourite games company Bandai Namco, the team that brought us Tekken took the stage in video form during Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia’s press conference on 29-30th November.

They showcased a Project Morpheus school girl character in Summer Lessons using the communication tech demo which was supposed to playable at Tokyo Game Show 2014 but cancelled. The demo puts players in a virtual room with a virtual schoolgirl, who they can interact with in virtual reality whether to look at her, touch her or stand around confused, this project is actually head by Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada.

Player opinions on School girl character:

The character was so close it made me nervous. Maybe the room is too small?
It's amazingly real!
I really want them to make a full product out of this.
I was surprised at how detailed the room was.
When she got close, my heart skipped a beat.
I think I'm in love.
I never thought a game character would make me this nervous.
I wanted to move around the room.
It was like she was really in front of me. I felt really bashful.
It was a very new experience for me. The possibilities seem endless.
The character was cute. I felt a natural charm about her.
The character presence was amazing!
She was a lot closer than I thought she'd be.
I still want to play it.
I was nervous the whole time. I felt the sound design was very important. The character felt closer than I expected.
I wouldn't want anyone watching me while I played.
The closeness of the character is amazing. They should make a simulation game where you try to get into Tokyo University together!
It was like she was right next to me. I want to live in that world.
It was amazingly stable. It's a shame you have to experience it to understand it.
It would have been even more immersive if they had voice interaction. It feels like she's really there.

Here is a pie chart of what players did with the girl:

The event was made available to only 700 people who were selected from Sony's official community site, hopefully they will be showcasing it at more vents in the future, I'd like to experience some MOE moments too :D ~Aisha Anime~

Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls! by Aisha Anime

i my girls cherry

I'm delighted to announce Nyu Media's latest release: Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls! (I'll just go with 'CTHIMG' from here out :) which launches on Steam this morning, and will roll out to GamersGate, Desura, and other distributors over the following days. CTHIMG is available as a standalone game priced $3.99, and together with the original game Cherry Tree High Comedy Club in the Cherry Tree High Complete Pack, priced $9.99.

As an added bonus and by popular demand, this morning we also rolled out a new, 'dewesternized' localization of the original Cherry Tree High Comedy Club that uses the original Japanese setting, Japanese character names / place names, etc. This new localization is now the 'official version' (the Japanese continuity is preserved in CTHIMG) and is immediately available to anyone who already owns Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, but we have kept the original 'westernized' version available for anyone who owns or purchases the game in future.

Please see the mail below for full details about the CTHIMG and here is a link to CTHIMG on Steam and your complimentary Steam key for review:
